Our Team
Our team is dedicated to supporting patients with breast cancer in a compassionate and caring environment. Iris’s team is highly trained, experienced and understands the many difficulties that breast cancer survivors face. Some have even gone through breast cancer themselves. Others have walked alongside loved ones during their breast cancer journeys.
Leadership Team


Executive Director
Liz Loreti has served as the Executive Director since July 2025. Liz holds a B.A. and M.A. in Psychology from the University of Central Florida. She has spent her career in nonprofit fundraising at organizations that enhance the livelihood of women and children including the Alpha Delta Pi Foundation, Camp Twin Lakes, and most recently Girl Scouts of Greater Atlanta where she served as Chief Development Officer.
Liz is an empathetic and compassionate leader, passionate about survivorship, health equity, and making advancements in breast cancer rehabilitation. She believes every breast cancer patient should have access to compassionate holistic care and support when their treatment is over.
In her free time, she volunteers with Motherhood Beyond Bars, the Junior League of Atlanta, and the Association of Fundraising Professionals where she served as President of the Georgia Chapter. Liz is an avid reader, her daughter's Girl Scout Troop Leader, and enjoys family time with her husband, 2 daughters – Liliana and Alessandra, and 2 very spoiled dogs.


Director of Strategy
Brian is a passionate, dedicatedcommunity supporter with a background in marketing and a keen eye for creative solutions. He holds a B.A. in Communications and Film and has worked with major companies such as JLL and BCG as a creative thought leader and innovative problem solver. At Iris, he works closely with the Executive Director to provide organization-wide support that strengthens operations and advances strategic priorities, while managing marketing and external affairs. He is also an active servant in our local community through other organizations such as Habitat for Humanity and the Mableton Improvement Committee.
Brian is a writer, editor, husband, and father. He is also the son of a breast cancer survivor and is deeply committed to the Iris mission and vision. He has a heart for people and strives to empower others, increase empathy and equality, and grow along the wonderful and inspiring people he meets everyday. As a science lover, ardent reader, and overall nerd, he loves to learn and explore the world around him. He is always open to discussing anything from health science to philosophy to color theory in film.


Controller & IT Lead
Brooklyn is a dedicated professional who graduated from Howard University in 2018 with a Bachelor's degree in Health Systems Management. With eight years of experience working as an administrator across various industries, including business, technology, healthcare, and non-profit organizations, Brooklyn is a versatile individual who excels in different settings. In 2023, she obtained her graduate degree, further expanding her knowledge and skills. Brooklyn recently joined Iris as the new Controller and IT lead. IrisvBreast Cancer Rehabilitation holds a special place in Brooklyn's heart due to its mission of walking alongside patients battling cancer. The purpose of Iris resonates with Brooklyn on a deeply personal level, as she has had several family members and friends who have fought the battle with cancer. With her experience and dedication, Brooklyn is committed to contributing to Iris' mission and making a positive impact.


Clinical Office Supervisor
Ryan O’Neill is a mission-driven operations leader dedicated to ensuring that every patient who walks through Iris’ doors feels supported, heard, and cared for throughout their recovery journey. She believes that compassionate, well-coordinated care environments allow patients to focus on healing, regain confidence in their bodies, and move forward after breast cancer.
At Iris, Ryan focuses on strengthening the overall patient experience by supporting clinical teams, improving operational systems, and helping ensure that programs and services remain accessible, responsive, and patient-centered. She works closely with staff to foster a culture grounded in empathy, accountability, and continuous improvement so that every survivor receives the thoughtful care they deserve.
Ryan brings more than a decade of experience working with multidisciplinary teams across healthcare-adjacent organizations, nonprofit programs, and mission-driven initiatives. She holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in International Business from the University of Georgia. Ryan grew up in Marietta, Georgia, and after college lived in Washington, DC before returning to the Atlanta area. She now lives in Brookhaven with her partner, Russ, their dog Breezy, and their cat Matilda. Outside of work, she enjoys volunteering with the Junior League of Atlanta and relaxing with a good puzzle.
Clinical Team


Assistant Clinical Director
Janae received a BS in Exercise Science from Georgia State University in 2008 and graduated with a Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Emory University in 2012. Janae came to Iris Breast Cancer Rehabilitation as a breast cancer survivor in 2019 and brings a unique patient perspective into caring for and connecting with patients. Driven by a commitment to patient-centered care, Janae has implemented initiatives that not only improve clinical outcomes but also enhance the overall patient experience. As the lead therapist for the Atlanta Initiative, Janae facilitates community-based care through strategic partnerships, ensuring clinical support is integrated directly within the community. By fostering a supportive and culturally sensitive environment, Janae empowers patients to actively participate in their healthcare decisions, leading to improvements in quality of life among historically marginalized communities. As an advocate for health equity, Janae has presented at the APTA Combined Sections Meeting, with a platform and poster presentation in 2020 and educational sessions in 2024 and 2026. Janae’s dedication to providing equitable healthcare has earned her recognition as a leader in the field, inspiring colleagues and other healthcare organizations to join in on the mission of eliminating disparities in breast cancer care. Janae is a certified edema specialist and an APTA Certified Clinical instructor.


Staff Physical Therapist
Mallory Mark, PT, DPT, CLT, CES, is a dedicated physical therapist specializing in breast cancer rehabilitation. She previously served as Clinical Director of Iris Breast Cancer Rehabilitation before transitioning back into a staff physical therapist role to allow more time with her family while continuing to serve the organization’s mission.
Mallory began her career working with the neurological population in the inpatient rehabilitation setting, where she developed a strong foundation in complex medical care and interdisciplinary collaboration. Since joining Iris in 2019, she has focused exclusively on providing evidence-based rehabilitative care to improve the quality of life for individuals impacted by breast cancer. Her clinical approach emphasizes restoring function, reducing pain, improving mobility, and empowering patients throughout survivorship.
She is a Board-Certified Clinical Specialist in Oncologic Physical Therapy, a Certified Edema Specialist and Lymphedema Therapist, and an APTA Certified Clinical Instructor. Mallory is an active member of the APTA Oncology section, where she serves as Education Committee Chair and contributes as an exam item writer, helping shape the future of oncologic physical therapy practice.
In her spare time, Mallory enjoys horseback riding, playing tennis, and spending time with her husband, dog, and daughter.


Staff Physical Therapist
Hannah earned a BA in Exercise and Sport Science from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2014 anda Doctorate in Physical Therapy from The George Washington University in 2017. She began her physical therapy career at an outpatient clinic in Decatur, Georgia, where she worked with oncology patients and individuals with limb loss. During her time in the outpatient setting, she obtained multiple certifications, including Dry Needling, Instrument-Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization (IASTM), and blood flow restriction training. It was in this role that Hannah discovered her passion for oncology rehabilitation and developed a program within her company to improve patient access to care. After nearly four years, she continued her career at Iris Breast Cancer Rehabilitation.
Since joining Iris, Hannah has become an APTA Certified Edema Specialist and remains committed to providing evidence-based care to patients from all backgrounds. She is passionate about addressing health-related disparities that exist in the Black and LGBTQIA+ community and enjoys working with the Atlanta Initiative that specializes in this mission. Hannah also has guest lectured at local universities, community events, and organizations about the importance of intersectionality in healthcare. She is also an APTA certified Clinical Instructor, two-time presenter at the APTA's Combined Sections Meeting, as well as being one of Atlanta Business Chronicle's Allied Health Professionals of the Year in 2025.


Physical Therapist
Stephanie earned a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science from Arizona State University in 2014 and a Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from A.T. Still University in 2019. Following graduation, she relocated to Oregon, where she practiced as an orthopedic physical therapist for three years. During this time, she obtained her Certified Lymphedema Therapist (CLT) credential through Academy of Lymphatic Studies (ACOLS) and played a key role in developing a comprehensive lymphedema program within her clinic. In 2022, Stephanie joined Iris Breast Cancer Rehabilitation in Georgia, where she further expanded her expertise in breast cancer rehabilitation. She is passionate about delivering evidence-based, patient-centered care and is committed to improving quality of life for individuals affected by breast cancer. Stephanie contributes to the development of educational resources, engages in community outreach initiatives, and remains dedicated to advancing specialized rehabilitation services for her patients.


Physical Therapist
Grayson Webb, PT, DPT, CLT, CES, CIDN, is a physical therapist specializing in outpatient orthopedics and breast cancer rehabilitation. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Exercise and Sport Science from the University of Georgia and her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Armstrong Atlantic State University (now Georgia Southern University) in Savannah, Georgia.
Grayson has dedicated her career to treating individuals with post-operative conditions, chronic and acute pain, lymphedema, and balance impairments. She is a Certified Edema Specialist and is certified in trigger point dry needling. Her passion lies in helping patients restore function, build confidence, and return to meaningful daily activities. In addition to patient care, she has served in clinic leadership roles, mentored student interns, and presented at continuing education courses and DPT programs.
Grayson was introduced to Iris through a provider continuing education course and was immediately drawn to its mission of caring for the whole person throughout the breast cancer journey. She values being part of a team that supports both physical and emotional healing.
Outside the clinic, Grayson values spending time with her husband, two sons, and their yellow lab, Kevin. She enjoys cheering on her children at their sporting events, traveling, and staying active through running.


Physical Therapist
Jessica graduated from Emory University with a Bachelor of Science in Neuroscience and Behavioral Biology. She then continued her graduate education at Duke University where she received a Doctorate in Physical Therapy. After working in the specialty area of pelvic health and oncology physical therapy for many years, Jessica narrowed the focus of her practice to breast cancer rehabilitation. She feels the best part of her job is empowering her patients to feel their best and provide them with hope throughout their survivorship journey.
Jessica is a Certified Edema Specialist, a Certified Lymphedema Therapist and is STAR Clinician Certified in Oncology. She has completed the APTA’s Pelvic Health Level 1-3 Certification Courses. In her spare time, you can find her cheering on her beloved Duke Blue Devils, walking her rescue dog, reading a good book or playing tennis with her family.


Senior Physical Therapist
Carrie holds a Bachelor of Science in Exercise and Sports Science from The University of Georgia, a Master’s Degree in Nonprofit Administration from Louisiana State University, and a Doctorate of Physical Therapy from The University of North Georgia. Prior to joining TurningPoint, she was involved in research in women’s health and worked in numerous pediatric settings. She presents both locally and nationally and is published in the field of physical therapy. She has also been published for her work in the field of cancer research. Over the last 15 years, she has used her diverse skill set to help meet the physical and functional needs of those impacted by breast cancer. Additionally, Carrie advocates for this patient population by teaching both physical therapy students and clinicians. She is a certified lymphedema therapist and member of the Academy of Oncologic Physical Therapy of the American Physical Therapy Association.
Iris is a special place because we care for the complete person. We are here to support everyone who walks through our doors both physically and emotionally. Our goal is to help our patients find physical and emotional healing so that they can get back to the things they love.
Something fun about me is that I have a zipline in my backyard…that I ride when my children beg me.


Physical Therapist
Kathryn received her Doctorate of Physical Therapy degree from Washington University in St. Louis in 2010. Prior to joining Iris in 2021, Kathryn spent ten years working in a hospital-based outpatient orthopedic clinic in Charlotte, NC. During this time, she utilized a movement system impairments approach to treatment in conjunction with manual therapy and dry needling techniques. Throughout her career, Kathryn’s practice specialty and passion have been in women’s health care with an emphasis on breast cancer, lymphedema, pelvic health, and pregnancy and post-partum care.
She served as an item writer for the ABPTS Specialist Certification examination for Women’s Health Physical Therapy and had the opportunity to present a poster presentation at APTA’s Combined Sections Meeting in 2011 entitled “Conservative Management of Axillary Web Syndrome: A Case Report. Kathryn is a Board-Certified Clinical Specialist in Women’s Health Physical Therapy, Certified Lymphedema Therapist, Certified Myofascial Trigger Point Therapist (Dry Needling), an APTA Certified Clinical Instructor, and STARClinician Certified.
When Kathryn is not working, she enjoys running, reading, traveling, and sailing with her husband and two children.


Physical Therapist Assistant
Jyoti received her Bachelor of Science degree from the College of Charleston in South Carolina before returning home to Florida to earn her Associate of Science degree as a Physical Therapist Assistant from Broward Community College. She has experience in both inpatient and outpatient settings and has worked with geriatric and pediatric populations, treating a wide range of neurological and orthopedic conditions. Jyoti is also a Certified Edema Specialist, providing specialized care for patients experiencing swelling and lymphedema.
Jyoti has specialized in breast cancer rehabilitation for many years and is especially passionate about oncology care. She values the opportunity to support patients in rebuilding their strength, confidence, and quality of life during and after breast cancer treatment.
Outside the clinic, Jyoti enjoys spending time with her husband and two daughters, as well as exploring her creativity through art and crafting.


Physical Therapist Assistant
Courtney earned her Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology from Georgia Southern University before continuing her education at South University in Savannah, Georgia, where she completed her Physical Therapist Assistant degree. She is passionate about helping others improve their mobility, strength, and overall quality of life. She is honored to be a small piece in the journey to recovery and healing.
Courtney is married to her husband, Ryan, and together they have two daughters, Maggie and Lottie, who keep their family life fun and full of activity. When she’s not busy with work or family, Courtney enjoys crafting and painting whenever she can find the time. She and her family also share their home with their black lab, Tucker, who is a beloved part of their crew.


Oncology Massage Therapist
Lisa left the corporate finance world to pursue a vocation that would positively impact the lives of those around her. She is passionate about helping others create a healthy balance in their lives by relieving pain, stress, or providing healing restorative massage. In addition to treating her private clients, Lisa has provided massage therapy in a variety of settings: working alongside a chiropractor, assisting physical therapists, and being part of a team in a massage clinic. Lisa has also partnered with A New Daly Beginning, a non-profit organization whose mission is empowering and caring for cancer patients, survivors, and caregivers through calming skin therapies and therapeutic bodywork. She has volunteered at several breast cancer retreats providing safe, therapeutic massages to the participants. In her free time, Lisa enjoys reading, hiking, traveling, and hanging out with her 2 dogs.
Iris is a special place because everyone in the organization truly cares about providing the best, individualized care for each patient that comes through the door. A true team effort.
Something fun no one knows about me is that I owned and rode a Harley Davidson motorcycle for a few years.


Oncology Massage Therapist
A licensed massage therapist since 2007, Meera Solomon combines her experience working in both spas and clinical settings to provide an experience that blends the best of both worlds, relaxing and therapeutic, safe and effective. Prior to joining the staff at Iris in 2014, Meera provided massage therapy to patients at radiation oncology offices in the Atlanta area, as well as helped prepare and instruct continuing education classes on massage for people living with cancer. Meera is the only massage therapist to have completed the American Physical Therapy Association Oncology Section’s Certified Edema Specialist training program. Whether your goals are to find relief from pain and tightness, to manage lymphedema, post-surgery swelling, or find relaxation, Meera will customize each session to your needs. Outside of Iris, Meera is active in animal rescue and enjoys reading, practicing yoga, and hiking.


Social Worker
Dr.Dawnovise (Dawn) Fowler earned a Ph.D. in social work and serves as a licensed master social worker at Iris Breast Cancer Rehabilitation in Atlanta, GA. During her own breast cancer journey, Dr. Fowler observed gaps in healthcare and services to address cancer patients’ mental health. In 2021, she led the development and implementation of trauma-informed support services, including individual counseling, support groups, and workshops for breast cancer patients and caregivers at the Rehabilitation Center. She is also the Founder of The Vow of Wellness, LLC, to provide meaningful support to breast cancer survivors and the healthcare professionals who serve them. Clients find Dr. Fowler to be compassionate and relatable due to her unique practitioner-survivor lens.
Dr.Fowler also has extensive public health experience, leading as a Behavioral and Health Scientist for CDC and the Agency for Toxic Substances and Disease Registry (ATSDR). She is a former university professor and has served as the principal and co-investigator on research projects funded by the NIH, the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation, and the Dell Corporation. With a remarkable presentation record and numerous peer-reviewed publications, Dr.Fowler co-authored an article in 2023 on racial disparity in breast cancer survivorship published in the Journal of Cancer Survivorship. She is the recipient of the 2025 Phillip Street Cancer Community Champion award through the Georgia Center for Oncology Research and Education (CORE).
Dr. Fowler aims to promote and improve the understanding of a trauma-informed approach as effective care for cancer survivors and always foster safe space for grace and healing for her clients.


Licensed Clinical Social Worker
Wendi Goldberg is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who earned her Master of Social Work degree from the University of Georgia. She has provided individual, group, and family therapy in psychiatric hospitals, community-based programs, and private practice settings. Wendi has supported clients navigating anxiety, depression, stress, self-esteem concerns, grief and loss, family dynamics, parenting challenges, medica issues, life transitions, aging, and relationship concerns.
After experiencing her own breast cancer diagnosis and treatment, Wendi felt called to focus her work more intentionally on supporting individuals facing breast cancer. She now serves as the LCSW at Iris Breast Cancer Rehabilitation, where she provides present-focused emotionalvsupport through individual counseling and support groups for patients andvsurvivors at various stages of diagnosis, treatment, and recovery.
Wendi believes that breast cancer carevincludes both physical and emotional healing. While rehabilitation focuses onvstrengthening and restoring the body, counseling and supportive connection provide space for individuals to process fear, body image changes, uncertainty,identity shifts, relationship dynamics, and complex decision-making. She is passionate about making emotional support available as part of a comprehensive recovery experience, honoring each person’s readiness and unique needs.
Wendi strives to create a supportive, strengths-based environment where clients feel heard, understood, and empowered. She values meeting people where they are and helping them build practical coping tools while respecting autonomy throughout the survivorship journey.
Outside of her professional work, Wendi enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling, outdoor activities, and watching movies.


Exercise Oncology Specialist
Ariel graduated with her B.S. in Exercise Science from Slippery Rock University in 2022. She is an Exercise Is Medicine® professional and an ACSM-Certified Exercise Physiologist. She also holds certifications as an Exercise Oncology Instructor (EOI), Exercise Oncology Educator (EOE), and Brain Health Trainer (BHT).
Prior to joining Iris Breast Cancer Rehabilitation in 2026, Ariel worked at Maple Tree Cancer Alliance, a global leader in Exercise Oncology. During her time there, she served as a Clinical Site Leader, overseeing daily operations and developing specialized individualized 12-week exercise programs for breast cancer patients. Additionally, she contributed to research efforts with renowned institutions like Mayo Clinic and Cincinnati Childrens Hospital, presented at national conferences and collaborated with the American Cancer Society’s Hope Lodge to provide free exercise services to guests.
Ariel is passionate about empowering individuals with cancer to regain strength, enhance their quality of life, and return to the activities they love. She has witnessed firsthand the profound physical, mental, and emotional benefits of exercise and is dedicated to guiding patients through evidence-based programming with compassion, clarity, and encouragement.
Outside of work, Ariel enjoys traveling, spending time in the gym and hanging outwith her cats!
Patient and Clinical Support Team


Clinical Data Coordinator
Averrie is originally from Colorado and is currently pursuing her Masters of Public Health at Emory University. She completed her undergraduate studies in New Orleans, where she developed a strong interest in community-centered public health. Averrie’s professional background includes working with women’s health nonprofits, and supporting programs focused on access to care. Through this work, she developed a passion for advancing health equity, and looking for policy advancements backed by data analysis. Outside of her academic and professional pursuits, Averrie enjoys spending time with her two dogs and trying new food places throughout Atlanta.


Patient Care Coordinator
Neena is a graduate of the University of Dayton, where she earned her degree in Health Sciences with minors in psychology and disability studies. After completing her studies, she returned to Atlanta to pursue her passion for physical therapy and will be attending Georgia State University’s Doctor of Physical Therapy program. Through her clinical experience, she has developed a strong interest in oncology rehabilitation and is committed to delivering patient-centered, compassionate care.
She is also a nationally certified EMT, having worked throughout her undergraduate years to deepen her clinical foundation. When she’s not in the clinic or classroom, you can find her traveling, spending time with her friends, family, or dog, playing pickleball, or enjoying a good game night.


Community and Clinical Engagement Coordinator
Laila was born and raised in Montgomery, Alabama, where she developed a passion for helping those in need through volunteering in the community. Seeking a career in healthcare, Laila obtained her bachelor's degree from the University of Alabama in Kinesiology-Exercise Science and is currently earning her Masters of Public Health in Behavioral, Social, and Health Education Sciences with a certificate in Maternal and Child Health from Emory University. Her previous experience includes working in hospitals as a nurse's assistant, engaging in numerous research projects, and serving in the community within other non-profit organizations. She is passionate about advocating for and ensuring accessible, equitable health measures for underserved demographics and rural communities. Laila enjoys working out, reading new mystery or romance books, and cooking new meals.


Clinical Relations Liaison
Emily is a graduate of the University of Kentucky, where she earned her Bachelor of Health Sciences in Clinical Leadership & Management. Her education equipped her to be a thoughtful, effective leader focused on driving meaningful change in healthcare and beyond.
Born and raised in the Greater Atlanta area, Emily returned to Georgia after college and now lives in Roswell with her husband, daughter and their golden retriever, Bowman. Her professional experience includes working with healthcare-related nonprofits as well as serving in administrative roles within a large hospital system. These experiences, along with her work at Iris ,have deepened her passion for supporting individuals impacted by cancer and being part of each patient’s unique journey. Outside of work, Emily enjoys watching reality TV shows, traveling to new places, and spending quality time with friends and family.


Patient Navigator/Insurance Clerk
Tia was born and raised in the metro Atlanta area, where she developed a deep connection to her community through hands-on involvement and volunteering. Her experiences working with various organizations ignited her passion for helping others and ensuring that every voice is heard, no matter the circumstances.
Driven by this passion, Tia pursued higher education at the illustrious Fort Valley State University, an esteemed Historically Black College and University (HBCU), where she earned her bachelor’s degree in Psychology. Throughout her academic journey and beyond, she honed a wide range of skills that she now shares with her work family, making meaningful contributions to their jobs and mission.
