Our

Mission

Iris Breast Cancer Rehabilitation is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that improves the quality of life for individuals impacted by breast cancer by providing and advocating for specialized, evidence-based rehabilitation while reducing socioeconomic, racial, cultural and geographic barriers to care.

We Are Iris

TurningPoint Breast Cancer Rehabilitation is now Iris Breast Cancer Rehabilitation, a name reflecting the deeper meaning behind the work we do every day.

The iris flower has long symbolized wisdom, courage, and guidance — qualities essential in the journey through cancer and beyond. The iris of the eye regulates light and focus, offering a powerful metaphor for recovery: the return of clarity, direction, and confidence after disruption. Together, these meanings reflect the emotional and physical transformation made possible when people receive the right support at the right time.

As Iris, we continue our commitment to helping individuals rebuild strength, restore function, and rediscover themselves after cancer treatment. Iris represents a forward-looking identity grounded in compassionate expertise, honoring the same mission and care defining our work from the start.
